shortfilmdcp.com is run by Intersectionnel Films Inc., a Canadian company.

You upload a short film. We turn it into a Digital Cinema Package (DCP), the format cinemas play, and send you a link to download it. Every DCP is built to one house spec: 2K, 24 fps, unencrypted, with the format, resolution, gamma and audio layout set from your file.

Short films up to 30 minutes, as MOV or MP4 files.

You keep all rights to your film. We use your file for one thing: building your DCP and delivering it to you.

The price is set by your film’s runtime and shown before you pay, in Canadian dollars. Any taxes are added at checkout. Stripe processes the payment, and your card details stay with Stripe.

We build your DCP once per order. A new version of your film is a new order. If a venue can’t play your DCP, see Refunds.

The price is for the file you chose when you got your quote. We build from that file and no other. If a different file is uploaded, it is not built and the order is not refunded.

Your master file is deleted 7 days after delivery, and your download link works for 30 days. Full detail: Privacy.

The version of this page posted on the day you pay is the one that applies to your order.

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the laws of Canada that apply in Québec.
