What we collect
- The film file you upload.
- Your email address.
- The file’s name, size and the price tier you paid for (your order record).
Why we collect it
Only to build your DCP, deliver it to you, and keep a record of the order (for support, refunds and our own bookkeeping).
Who touches your file
Nobody but the pipeline that builds your DCP: ffmpeg, DCP-o-matic and Clairmeta, running on our own computer in Montréal. No AI service of any kind ever sees your film or your order details: those three tools are the whole pipeline, every time.
Where things are stored
- Your film and your finished DCP package are stored on Cloudflare R2, in North America.
- Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Order emails are sent through Resend.
How long we keep things
- The master file (what you uploaded): deleted within 8 days of upload.
- Your finished package: your download link works for 30 days. We keep the package itself for up to 60 days after delivery; after 60 days it is deleted. The download link isn’t guessable, but it isn’t secret either: anyone holding the link can use it, so don’t share it beyond your venue.
- Your order record (email, file name, size, tier paid): kept 90 days.
No accounts, no marketing
We don’t create a profile or account for you, and we don’t send marketing email. You’ll get up to three emails about your specific order: a confirmation, a “checking your file” notice if something needs a closer look, and your download link. Nothing else.
